Everybody is talking about Slovenia as of a country of great opportunity to become one of the most prosperous economies in the time-span of the next few decades. And even I couldn’t agree more. But for this goal to be achieved, I believe it is about time to take our own initiative, and carve our own path into the future, not just following all the time, to some old models, economies we admire went through on their development. Because even though the ability of being a good follower is essential for becoming an excellent leader, a follower can never surpass his teacher, until he matures enough, to become the latter himself. And since I believe the future lies in new and advanced technologies, why don’t we become the pilot country for such projects?

I believe the current state of the country could match all the criteria needed for such a venture. It seems the country will be led by social democrats, who I believe should distance themselves from extremes of pure capitalism and give some more focus to well-being of the residents of this country, which I believe could come as a very probable side effect of such development. Our territory and population is also small enough and I believe we, as a nation, are also quite adaptable, for such projects to succeed. Furthermore, we have also the reputation of a hard-working nation and I think we’re ambitious enough, and have the guts to take on such a project. Also the big international corporations are not so deeply rooted in our economy, and we don’t depend as much on American economy as the other western countries.

The only bigger obstacle at the moment, would probably be money. But as the projected technologies (if they turn out as successful) should become quite profitable, “investors” shouldn’t be to hard to find. development in such a way could contribute a lot to our “added knowledge”, and might be an excellent way to update our technical universities laboratories, since some of my physics experiments I did few years ago, had to be done on equipment dated almost all the way back to the second world war.

So why wouldn’t we travel by MagLev train instead of our current 100km/h passenger trains and why not getting all the energy required, only from renewable sources? Why not putting more of our efforts in training people to use the technologies of the 21th century regularly and take advantage of all of its benefits (ecological, better productivity,..)?

Broken ideal

Ideals are to thin, to not to be broken. Mine was, just a little more than a hour ago. It is really hard to understand, why some want to play something they’re not, even if they have stunningly beautiful personalities. Sadly, they will never be uncovered that way… It is time to move on then…

Showing off

While browsing through various social sites like Facebook, Netlog and others, I find it very interesting, how can some be so naive, to publish in their profile, various photos of their main “attributes”, covered only in underwear, and than expect it to catch an eye of a guy, capable of honest and serious friendship or even partnership. Of course, it catches my eye, no doubt about that… But I can assure you, that interest would be gone, as soon as I would get “my hour of satisfaction” (if we call it so), and than you would quickly realize, how you degraded yourself to nothing more than an “object of lust”.
Still there are some, that like to be seen by others. I can only hope, that the confirmation from them isn’t the main resource they build self-esteem an confidence upon. Because if that is so, I believe, they have no bright future ahead, at least from my perspective. So why behaving that way?
I still believe that true and sincere relationships based on deeper personal similarities, interlaced with trust and intimacy and upgraded with physical attractiveness, can be much more satisfying, they last much longer and can be amplified to higher degree of sex appeal than the ones described above. But they very rarely, if ever, start with a girl half naked, positioning herself in sexually challenging poses. This turns me on, I admit it, but that is really all it does…

You have no idea of the beauty, my eyes see you in, of the attractiveness you nurture me with, that not even single time has failed turning me on. The hunger for your closeness makes me worship every sign of life in your gorgeous body, and to express eternal gratitude to the creator of this masterpiece. The look in your eyes only you have blessed me with, makes my knees weak under all your kindness and your sincere want to blossom beside a man worthy of you, and at the same time it motivates me over and over again to give my best to every deed I act on, and to do it for the good of every fellow human being. You inspired in me the belief of the greatness of everyone, especially myself (and you of course ), and to fully enjoy every single moment I’ve been given. You pulled my life out of prejudices and inspired and enabled me to faithfully follow my life’s purpose. Don’t take yourself to seriously

Seven months went by, but not even a day not thinking about it. Life can really be a series of pleasant moments and experiences, so why some take it so seriously? When I was like that, it was no fun at all. But when my problems were “transformed to challenges”, and when headless running from one pointless experience to another, was changed with well aligned and defined goals I am now striving to, it got a whole new picture. And you don’t need to be too serious about all this. Even the opposite, because it’s hard to imagine, how you will retrieve yourself from the burden of your first failure in all your seriousness, while it’s not nearly that hard if you just smile at yourself, stand up, and face the next challenge. Don’t even bother yourself with what others will think about it. Also don’t bother yourself if you disappoint someone from time to time. But always try your best not to disappoint yourself. Ever.

Not to be mistaken… When you really care for someone, seeing her/him dissapointed even hurts you more. So that practically means you betrayed yourself.

Lack of integrity

How can someone stand tall and without any feeling of guilt, while receiving tax payers money, from residents of the country he was essentially against its very foundation (act of independence to be exact)? Some of them are even proclaiming themselves as righteous defenders of its good reputation, and than in the same breath they criticize this country’s achievements one after the other, since they aren’t theirs. I know this is a part of the election’s campaign, but some respect must still be shown to work that others have done.
Even if I despise “Slovenski tednik”, free weekly political propaganda from the ruling parties, I still respect the work this party has done over the last few years, and its president Janez Janša as a character. He also was in decision of continuing a safe, worry free life as one of the quiet non-problematic followers of the former regime, or to risk everything and follow his ideals of free and independent republic of Slovenia. He did the latter and I am still very grateful for that. And what is to be said about his recent work, as a prime minister of this country, I really respect how well he managed to keep his share of voters over this years. If we take in account that before him, for 12 years the country was led by more or less the same people with different ideology that inherited its foundations (and most of its personnel) from the ruling parties in former “republic” of Yugoslavia, he must had a hard job initiating new ideologies into an “old governing machine” enabling him to do what he has done. And during that he also managed to find himself a damn attractive companion.
And what about other major competitor parties? They’re all promising changes.. And believe me, good changes are always welcomed. But I still believe it would be to optimistic to expect them from the people unable to make them in their 12-years in position, as one of the ruling parties.
I don’t know much of politics.. But I know I don’t want my country to be led by someone with lack of integrity and to “flexible spine”. I believe we need someone with defined morals and values, that could be a model for all. So I guess it should be someone from out of politics…

Time to pass some exams

It’s time to pass some exams now. So don’t be offended if I’m not as responsive as usual. There will still be enough opportunities to make up for all that has been missed. Not that it is as much of a time management problem - we all have 24 hours to use, I’m well aware of that - as it is a problem with my focus.
So till next time… be well, do what you like doing most and continue to make path for fulfilling your chosen life’s purpose. The deeds you’re expected to do merely count to your personal statistics, but the ones made purely of your sincere want, build you up as a character and fill you up with a true joy of life. I still believe every man’s deepest core is filled with sincere love and compassion for others… So don’t dare to betray this beliefs!

When logic fails

We learn most from our own mistakes. And I had been making one of such.. unconsciously and for quite a long time. I let only one short moment of ignorance to finish my pursuit of joyful time together with a specific princess. Quite a rational act in a world of men, but with women… let me just say, that an ability of expressing wide range of emotions, is one of the important characteristics I focus on, while searching for an ideal mate. And since majority of their actions base on the emotional state they are currently in, it should be pretty obvious to me, that I might have been dealing with a possible perfect partner, but unaware of that, I fucked up the moment, and probably the opportunity too.

And what can we learn from that? That once again, words are just noise. It’s the deeds that tell us something about a man. So next time you tell someone you like femininity in full spectrum, really do. Don’t just convince yourself and others in that, and then give up when the first line of resistance is shown. Give some effort to it, and pleasure will never miss out. Women seem to be illogical, but that’s probably one of the most attractive things about them.
